During these services we have Kids Ministry experiences for babies-5th that are FUN, designed to meet your kiddo where they are developmentally, and there is always a relational focus between kids and leaders who care!

What To Expect

Here is what you can expect from a normal Sunday at Live Oak…

ORDINARY PEOPLE with problems and sins seeking an amazing God TOGETHER.

A CASUAL & COMFORTABLE atmosphere

FRIENDLY PEOPLE – they will help you find your way around but won’t invade your space.

MEANINGFUL WORSHIP in a creative, contemporary environment.

MESSAGES that make sense – Biblical teaching and real help for everyday life.

An AMAZING KIDS EXPERIENCE for BABIES thru 5th GRADERS – you can relax knowing they’re safe and having a blast!

A MULTIGENERATIONAL WORSHIP SETTING – middle schoolers, highschoolers and college students have their own nights for gathering (Wednesdays and Tuesdays respectively) and they also attend our main services on Sundays. We LOVE having them there!

Have Kids?

If you have little ones who want to go to our childrens’ experiences (and believe us, they will want to) read on!

BABIES – 3 YEAR OLDS
Check your child in at our centralized kids check-in area to your right when you enter the foyer. After check in you will take your kiddo to the the east wing of the building (you will see signage).

4 YEAR OLDS – 5TH GRADERS
Check your child in at our centralized kids check-in area to your right when you enter the foyer. After check in you will go to the west wing (you will see signage) to drop your child to there.

Speaking of kids… we have secure check-in. You are given a tag that matches your child’s and you MUST present it in order to pick up your child at the conclusion of service. You can also rest assured that if your child needs you during service, their tag number will show up on the corner of the main screens.

Your children who are 6th grade and older will attend the main service with you. PLEASE NOTE: We have a special environment just for them on Wednesday evenings called LOSM (Live Oak Student Ministry).

If you are new

HELPFUL TIPS

You really can wear what you want. The majority of Live Oakers wear casual clothes.

You don’t have to worry about being pointed out as “new” during the service, but chances are you will be greeted by many, because Live Oak is a friendly place and we love new faces.

During the teaching portion of our services, our Pastors show scripture on the side screens. You can still bring your Bible or pull up your online Bible, too. If you need a Bible, we have free ones in our foyer at Guest Central. We provide Bible Reading Plans that go with our Sunday series, because we want to help you engage God’s Word on your own.

We have an online bulletin (easily found each week on our app and website homepages) that will connect you to each element of our service. Go to it now!

We have an area in the middle of our foyer called GUEST CENTRAL. It’s a great place to visit to ask any questions you have.
