Most Wednesdays at 6:00pm

A typical LOSM during the school year looks like this:

• 6:00 to 6:30pm – LOSMeal (designed to be a big snack to bridge hunger between after-school activities and church); Also a time of connection for students and leaders
• 6:30pm to 8:00pm – Games, meaningful worship, relevant teaching, age and gender-based small group time with leaders who care.

Why Small Groups?

We believe that small groups are where we grow. That’s when we can unpack all we have been learning and what it means in our lives! This is where the magic happens! We offer age and gender-based small groups on Wednesday nights. Small Group leaders facilitate meaningful conversation about how Jesus and Scripture intersect with real life now! We believe teenagers need connection with 5 adults. The connections made between small group leaders and peers is important and vital to LOSM.

SUnday mornings 

LOSM does not meet on Sunday mornings because many of our students are serving within the church. Statistics have shown that 7 out of 10 students leave the church and their faith when they go to college. However, it also shows that students who are serving and putting their faith into practice are more likely to maintain their faith when they leave for college or whatever is next after high school. That’s what we are striving for!

Intergenerational Worship

We have learned that inter-generational worship can be catalytic to a student’s faith so we encourage our families to attend Sunday services and worship together!

Beyond the Wednesday NIght

Beyond our regular services we encourage our students to put their faith into action across the street in their families and schools. We believe in creating content that is easily transferable in their world. We also strive to provide serving opportunities across the street, across the globe and into the next generation. Lastly,  WE LOVE CAMP! We have found high value in spending a week away from the real world connecting to Christ and Community in an environment away from the hustle and bustle of the world!
