Psummer in the Psalms
The Psalms are one of the most read, sung, and referenced books in all of the scriptures. The Psalms are a diverse book or poetry and prayers as people respond to God as they travel on their journey through life. This summer we will dive into the Psalms as we Read, Reflect and Respond to various Psalms each Sunday. Join us on this journey as we spend the Psummer in the Psalms.
Week 10: Psalm 90
As we read, reflect and respond on Psalm 90 we see our eternal God, the brevity of life, and the importance of how we live each day with eternity in mind.
DISCUSSION/REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- If you were a superhero, what would you want your superpower to be?
- When was a time when you were reminded that life is fragile and short?
- READ: Psalm 90. Spend some time SOAPing this passage. You can either spend time SOAPing individually and documenting for a several minutes and then spend time sharing with each -OR- SOAP in real time with each other.
Either way make as many observations as you can. - OBSERVATIONS: What stands out to you from Psalm 90? What are your observations?

- What does “numbering our days” have to do with “gaining a heart of wisdom”?

- READ: Psalm 90:17. What does it mean to ask God to “establish the work of our hands,” and how does that apply to your job, home life, or church life?

- READ: Ephesians 5:15-17. How does this passage give us insight and application from what we read in Psalm 90.
