At Live Oak, we are passionate about making disciples of Jesus Christ! We believe a disciple is an obedient follower of Jesus who is becoming like Jesus and committed to the mission of making other disciples. Making disciples is Jesus’ plan for taking the Good News to all nations (Matthew 28: 18-20). As Jesus modeled while investing in the lives of His twelve, life-to-life disciple making is the most effective way to accomplish His mission (2 Timothy 2:2). Jesus style disciple-making is highly relational, intentional, and easily reproduced in the lives of others.
