GRACELAND: A place where grace rules and prodigals can call home.
On April 27 we will start a 4-week series called “GRACELAND”, A Place Where Grace Rules and Prodigals Can Call Home. As we focus on and dig into Luke 15, we are praying that this series impacts how you see others, how you see yourself, and how you reach out to the prodigals in your world.
Week 2: “Distant Country” – Luke 15:12-24
Jesus told 3 stories, back-to-back-to-back, all to make a point. People matter to God. All people. All the time. They matter so much that Jesus came to gather them to Himself. When something valuable is missing, God goes searching…and so should we.
This week, we look at the most famous part of this parable, and maybe the most famous of Jesus’ parables, as we focus on the prodigal son and critical moment of “when he came to his senses”, the critical moment of his return home, and how we can pray for prodigals.
